The Vascular Society/Circulation Foundation is holding its 2010 Spring Meeting, in conjunction with the Midlands Vascular Society, on Thursday 11th March on the subject of ‘Saving Legs’. The meeting will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham.

Part of The Circulation Foundation Vascular Disease Awareness Week

 

Programme includes presentations on:

  • Critical leg ischaemia
  • Complex endovascular intervention
  • Improving surgical outcomes after leg amputation
  • and a debate on VAC treatment is expensive and not evidence based.

 

A Tissue Viability Symposium will also be held in parallel, aimed at all nurses involved in the care and management of complex vascular wounds.  There will be an opportunity during this symposium to use various medical devices and wound care applications.

 

The meeting will be followed by a Research Grant Awardees Drinks Reception to highlight the research funded by the Circulation Foundation.
